What we do

Baking

Our baking session is designed to support life skills. We look at each area of cooking from health and hygiene to all the steps needed to create a bake. We also incorporate healthy eating and how we can achieve this within our cooking.

Art & Craft

In this session we explore the different types of art & craft and how we can use them to create pieces of work for display. We also use this session to create fabulous items for sale during the course of the year.

Woodwork

Our woodwork shop provides the space to create your own brilliant projects, or learn how to make some of our projects for sale. We use reclaimed wood in as many of our projects as possible however you can purchase wood from us required for your project .

Cook & Eat

This session shows you how to make a two course meal from scratch, looking at healthy eating ,meal planning and budgeting. The group then continue to eat the meal together all in a friendly sociable environment.

Dance & Drama

Grow your confidence by being a part of  our performing Arts team. Guided by our performers we rehearse weekly working towards our twice a year performances.

Active Life

Staying fit and healthy is important to everyone's general health, our Active Life focuses on a range of activities that promotes physical activities from Yoga, bowling ,golf, aerobics, walking ,Gym and much more.

Props & Costume

A great way to explore your artistic talents by being a part of our team that designs and creates our stage and costumes for our shows.

Active Explorers

Using our beautiful surroundings and exploring everything the Isle of Wight has to offer , this group provides social interaction,community integration,  new experiences , basic money skills and travel experience. A monthly program is available detailing all up and coming trips.

Upcycling

Learn how to create a variety of projects by upcycling something that is old and worn and turning it into something new and different.

Active Breaks

Is our Short Breaks youth club session. This session is for 12-19 years old. To book please contact us for a registration form , you must have a Gateway Card in order for you to join. We also provide a pick up service for your young person from St Georges School.The session runs from 3.00pm - 6.00pm Every Monday except Bank Holidays.

One to One

If you feel you need additional support to access any of these groups please contact us to ask about our one to one service.We could provide you with our on site support workers depending on your needs to assist you with attending our sessions.

Extras

Some of our sessions we will also integrate other activities when appropriate, for example gardening for our cooking groups, computer skills, basic maths, time skills, customer service, basic life skills. If you require more information please contact us.
